Okay, so I have been working on a First grade informational writing unit on Penguins. I have been using pieces of Write from the Beginning and TCWRP. The Write from the Beginning is the district mandate and TCWRP is where pushed my learning as a teacher in my Reading Fellowship. We started with gathering information we watched a video and read a book about penguins then we collected facts.
